Bramha Research Foundation, as of its efforts to focus on issues relating to civic safety and national security in the context of the paradigm shift in the terror threats across the borders, has put together present and future threats scenarios against the backdrop of the 26/11/2008 Mumbai attack.
Post the unfortunate 26/11/2008 event, Government of India appointed Ram Pradhan Committee to study the mishap and suggest remedies to ensure that such events are not repeated in the future. This monograph presents a summary of the Mumbai attacks along with the findings and recommendations of the committee.
This compilation has been authored by defence expert Col. Venkat Raman.
This is followed by a presentation on the ‘Action taken by Mumbai Police during his tenure as CP (Mumbai)’ by Mr. D. Sivanandhan (IPS) Ex. CP and DG Police (Maharashtra).
The third part of the monograph consists of the latest CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) threat, as it poses greater danger to the society and the country due to the possibility of the high level sophistication in terror attack, authored by Colonel Dr.Ram Athavale, a leading CBRN expert in this field.
